About Me

Born to a pair of Vietnamese immigrants, I grew up in a rural town in Western Massachusetts as one of the few Asian kids in my community. We visited New York often. I was drawn to the fast pace and diverse culture of the city. Combined with my affinity toward the arts, my goal was to become a creative in the city.

I began my higher education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst with an interest in visual storytelling. There I studied a mix of journalism and digital arts. My decision to pursure a career in fashion came about while working my part-time job at Urban Outfitters. Even though it was retail, I enjoyed the work so much. This lead me to take a semester abroad at the London College of Fashion to expand my knowledge in the industry.

After I graduated, I immediately moved to New York, the place we visited so much growing up. My career took many turns: from the logistics of producing to the creativity of styling. I landed on the path of graphic design and art direction, combining creation and ideation. I’ve worked with many kinds of fashion brands. Working with these brands, I hope to help them develop a consistent and complete creative direction.
